An example of Dual Coding Theory that I have noticed on T.V. was the Geico Commercial. The Geico commercials utilize a cartoon gecko that talks with a British accent. By doing this the sensory systems of both Imagery and Logic are used to make the advertisement stand out. The statements made by the character also stand out when it interacts with its human costar. The commercials also utalize a play on words with the name of the Gecko, as a reference to the name of the insurance company "Geico". The company also uses logical scenario's such as a talk show and places an abnormal aspect in it to make it stand out.
